Representatives of the business community, institutions, local governments, and the financial sector will gather 7. on July 7 in Bijelo Polje for the first regional edition of the TBM Business Talks platform – Northern Region, dedicated to the economic development and investment prospects of northern Montenegro.
Following the national edition of Top Business Montenegro, which for the past four years has brought together leading companies and decision-makers from across Montenegro, the platform is expanding to the regional level for the first time this year through TBM Business Talks, under the general sponsorship of NLB Bank. The initiative aims to encourage dialogue on the development potential of different regions of Montenegro and contribute to stronger cooperation between the business sector and institutions.
The regional edition will be held in Bijelo Polje, one of the key economic and development centres of northern Montenegro, with the intention of launching a broader discussion from this region on the challenges, opportunities, and future directions of economic development.
For the first time, the TBM analysis of the performance of companies operating in the Northern Region in 2025 will be presented. The analysis will serve as the basis for discussions on the business environment, investment opportunities, and priorities for strengthening the economic development of northern Montenegro. In this way, the platform reaffirms its commitment to addressing development topics based on relevant economic indicators and data.
The event programme will include the presentation of the analysis findings, two panel discussions featuring the Presidents of the Municipalities of Bijelo Polje and Plav, representatives of the Ministry for the Development of the North, the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, the financial sector, and leading companies from the Northern Region, as well as the presentation of the first regional Top Business Montenegro Awards.
As part of the event, the first regional Top Business Montenegro Awards will be presented to companies that, according to the project’s methodology, achieved the best business results within their respective categories in the Northern Region.
The objective of the event is not only to exchange opinions, but also to create space for constructive dialogue that can contribute to a better understanding of the development needs of northern Montenegro and foster stronger cooperation among all stakeholders involved in its economic growth.
The regional editions of TBM Business Talks will continue in September with an event dedicated to the Southern Region, completing the platform’s regional concept and highlighting the development potential of both regions of Montenegro.
