This year, the Top Business Montenegro (TBM) platform presented its first-ever regional awards, recognizing companies that achieved the best business results in Northern Montenegro.

The awards were presented on 7 July in Bijelo Polje, during the inaugural regional edition of TBM Business Talks – Northern Region, an event dedicated to the economic development and investment potential of northern Montenegro.

The award for the Most Successful Micro Enterprise was presented to CETMAR KUJOVIĆ Ltd. from Kolašin, a wholesale trading company, represented by its owner Mladen Kujović.

The title of Most Successful Small Enterprise was awarded to SEF-TRANS Ltd. from Rožaje, owned by Ernad Šutković. The company’s core business activity is road freight transport.

The Top Business Montenegro – Northern Region Award for the Most Successful Newly Established Company was presented to ILLUMIN 8 Ltd. from Bijelo Polje, a company successfully operating in the field of electronic component manufacturing. The award was accepted on behalf of the company by Nermin Omerhodžić.

The awards were presented by Sead Franca and Ivan Bauk, Head of Corporate Banking at NLB Bank, the General Sponsor of the Top Business Montenegro 2026 platform.

The Top Business Montenegro Regional Awards recognize business excellence based on the project’s methodology and an analysis of companies’ official financial performance indicators.

“Northern Montenegro is a region of untapped potential, but the people who live and do business here have demonstrated their ability to build successful companies. The award-winning businesses are proof that outstanding results can be achieved despite numerous challenges. They demonstrate that the region possesses the entrepreneurial spirit, knowledge and capacity to build sustainable and competitive businesses,” it was emphasized during the event in Bijelo Polje.

The regional editions of TBM Business Talks will continue in September with an event dedicated to Southern Montenegro, completing the platform’s regional concept and highlighting the development potential of all parts of the country.
